Chicorée Leroux
Digital redesign of a heritage brand.

Client
Chicory is a traditional hot drink from the north of France. A healthy, local and eco-friendly product.
Leroux was founded in 1858 and is still the leader of the chicory market.
Chicory is known as our grandparents’ drink and was badly in need of a younger image. Mission accomplished, with a new brand identity and a new website.
Role
My role was to lead the art direction of the digital redesign of the leroux.fr e-commerce site.
In practice, I designed the website mockups, imagined the animations and worked closely with the development team to make sure the front-end build met the client’s expectations.
The challenge was twofold. First, the focus had to be on online sales: a clear user journey and a careful presentation of the products made the site effective.
Second, the site is rich in content about chicory and this heritage brand. It had to be laid out in a way that makes people want to explore it.
